    Same here.. I’ve been a fan of him for years now! I never knew he actually existed until my sister pointed him out to me, considering I play the acoustic guitar as well and she thought this would suit me :P I almost memorized the entire O album now lol! He does sound depressing, but he should. It’s how he is, what he is, it’s his music, and it sounds absolutely damn amazing. He is amazing, period.

    i have been a fan of damien rice for years, and he has his critics, like saying hes too depressing, but he sings about his life and if i were as good as him this is how i would love my autobiography to sound.
    hes amazing, period.
